The Software Finale
With the advent of technology and its inexorable development, it becomes important to be able to learn and manage the new knowledge that today’s world makes available to us. In the field of music, software for musical notation simplifies the work of word processing and score management, from the simplest to large orchestral scores. Among these, ‘Finale’ has been considered the benchmark in the panorama of notation programmes for years. ‘Finale’ is now in version 27 and is universally regarded as the standard among music notation and printing software. No other notation programme has such great flexibility. Every problem related to music notation can be solved in different ways, just choose the one that suits you best.
● OBJECTIVE
The aim of the course is to obtain a thorough knowledge of the word processing software ‘Finale’ and to develop autonomy in handling the programme and a firm problem solving strategy
● LESSONS
STRUCTURE
The course is divided into two levels: basic and advanced. Frontal lessons, in which theoretical notions will be imparted, will alternate with exercises during which prioritỳ will be given to verifying newly learned skills and any obstacles encountered by participants.
Both the basic and advanced courses include 20 hours of lectures dedicated both to theoretical aspects - based on the topics covered in the course- and to consolidating the knowledge acquired through tests and exercises submitted by the teacher.
