The masterclass with Amedeo Cicchese is part of the fourth edition of the annual cello masterclass 2025/2026 held with teachers Massimo Polidori and Giovanni Sollima.

MARTHA opens each meeting of the advanced courses to auditors by reserving special discounts for music students and class groups. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the life of the MARTHA Academy by listening to the advice of great masters during performances and lessons by young and talented musicians on the great cello repertoire.

Amedeo-Cicchese
Amedeo Cicchese, cello
Winner of the “Sinopoli” Prize awarded by the President of the Italian Republic and of the “V. Gui” Competition in Florence and the “Premio Trio di Trieste” Competition, he graduated with top marks from the “L. Perosi” Conservatory in Campobasso under Michele Chiapperino. Since 2016, having been chosen by Gianandrea Noseda, he has been Principal Cello of the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin. He collaborates both as Principal Cello and as soloist with the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Camerata Salzburg, and the Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He has an extensive teaching career and regularly gives masterclasses throughout Italy and abroad. He is one of the founders and the artistic director of the Janigro Festival.

Costs and enrollment

Student auditors: 30€ per day
Student discount auditors: 20€ per day
Student discount auditors class group: 15€ per day (minimum 4 students)

*Lecture schedule is subject to change according to teaching and organizational needs. It will be confirmed by the secretary’s office to all members a few days before the meeting.

Application for enrollment as an actual student should be submitted via email to info@marthapalermo.it
The secretariat verified the availability of places will send the enrollment contract.

 

  • Student auditor:
Purchase your auditor’s ticket from the shopping cart.
Take advantage of the student or group discount if you want to attend with other students.
