MARTHA’S ARTISTIC RESIDENCES REPRESENT AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE INDIVIDUAL ARTIST TO ESCAPE FROM THE ROUTINE, IMMERSING THEMSELVES IN A NEW SPACE, SOURCE OF INSPIRATION AND INTIMATE REFLECTION.
They are an invitation to all those who desire to meditate on a specific theme, through the creation of a piece or a project.
We strongly believe that Palermo needs the critical and creative artists’ gaze to be able to reflect and imagine their future as a stimulus for real changes. With this purpose, MARTHA promotes artistic residencies that can generate strong cultural interactions, by hosting artists coming from different geographic backgrounds and forms of expression, creating an all-round inventive coexistence between them.
