This course is not just a technical workshop, but a transformative experience. We’ll guide you in developing a true musical identity, refining your stage presence, your interpretive awareness, and your artistic vision.
Under the guidance of three of Europe’s most renowned masters, you’ll develop practical tools for navigating a career in music today—including auditions, concerts, competitions, and communication

This course guides you in developing your own strong and coherent musical identity, with a view toward a career as a soloist, chamber musician, or orchestral musician. The instructors will guide you through challenging repertoires, coaching sessions, and targeted strategies for artistic success.

Check out the program for the annual cello course below—the first annual advanced training program in Palermo that allows you to take the big step from student to concert cellist.
The cello lessons are divided into 8 sessions
During each session, you will take part in two instrument lessons, which will be held with a pianist accompanying you.

You can apply for part-time enrollment in the following formats: 8 sessions per year, each lasting one hour, or 4 sessions per year, each lasting two hours.

Orchestra Auditions
A program to prepare you for real orchestra auditions. Mock auditions, feedback, and strategies to successfully pass professional auditions.
Targeted Preparation Throughout the year, you’ll delve deeper into orchestral repertoire and learn strategies for tackling auditions and managing stress in real-life situations, gaining greater confidence, control, and readiness for professional auditions
Audition Repertoire: You will be assigned a specific repertoire and some orchestral passages, which will then be selected during the mock audition.
Realistic Simulation: You’ll have the opportunity to put yourself to the test with an audition in front of a real panel of professional orchestra musicians
Final Interview: You will receive detailed feedback from the committee

Attending thehearing is easy and free.
Partecipare all’audizione è semplice. Basta compilare il seguente form online. Riceverai l’esito dell’audizione via email. In caso di esito positivo ti manderemo il contratto per procedere all’iscrizione.
Rules for the video of the audition:
● Free choice repertoire lasting between 10 and 20 minutes
● Framing that includes the instrument
● High-resolution horizontal or vertical recording (even with a smartphone)
● Uploading to YouTube as a “public” or “unlisted” video
Deadline for participating in the online audition:
September 20, 2026
IMPORTANT
Auditions are evaluated immediately and in the order in which applications are received. Enrollment in the annual course is therefore subject to early closure once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
● Application
The application fee is required to reserve your place and must be paid within one week of the notice of successful admission.
● Attendance
The tuition fee must be paid by October 30, 2026.
All payment details will be provided in the contract attached to the admission email.
PAYMENT IN INSTALLMENTS
Payment in installments is available and can be requested after successfully completing the audition step.
CONVENTIONS
MARTHA Academy has conventions with hostels, B&Bs, hotels and bars that are located close to the class venue.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Through the campaign “Become a Patron,” MARTHA has launched a crowdfunding campaign to award scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be selected after enrollment, based on a single ranking of students who have applied.
HOSPITALITY
It is possible to request free lodging with the Mecenati. MARTHA will connect students with the Mecenati based on the latter’s availability and the type of housing, which may consist of a room in a private home with a family or in a separate apartment.
