⬤ Presentation

Tonight’s program weaves together very different voices and languages, showing how much the dialogue between cello and piano can turn from time to time into intimate storytelling, meditation, dance and pure sonic energy.

From the timbral and visionary refinement of Claude Debussy we move on to the innovative force of Ludwig van Beethoven, and then encounter the miniature and luminous poetry of Japanese haiku from which Josef Maria Guix draws inspiration. To close, the rhythmic vitality and passionate expressiveness of the Argentine tradition of Alberto
Ginastera.

An itinerary that highlights how much the dialogue between cello and piano can turn now into an intimate and meditative space, now into an explosion of dancing vitality and overwhelming passion.
