Cello masterclass with Giovanni Sollima
The masterclass with Giovanni Sollima is part of the fourth edition of the annual cello masterclass 2025/2026 held with teachers Massimo Polidori and Amedeo Cicchese.
MARTHA opens each meeting of the advanced courses to auditors by reserving special discounts for music students and class groups. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the life of the MARTHA Academy by listening to the advice of great masters during performances and lessons by young and talented musicians on the great cello repertoire.
Giovanni Sollima is an extraordinary performer, but above all a free and boundless composer. His visceral bond with his Sicilian roots, and especially with his cello, has marked and characterized both his artistic career and his writing, giving life to a language strongly contaminated by Mediterranean stylistic features or belonging to diametrically opposed musical genres such as rock and pop.
Costs and enrollment
Student auditors: 30€ per day
Student discount auditors: 20€ per day
Student discount auditors class group: 15€ per day (minimum 4 students)
