MARTHA ⬤ MUSIC ART HOUSE ACADEMY

Same format as the 2025–26 edition, which sold out.
MARTHA is not a master class, nor is it a conservatory.
It is a deliberately small program—with eight spots per course—designed to give each student what large institutions cannot offer: ongoing attention from three teachers with active international careers, throughout an entire academic year.

Where Sound Is Edited
A building from 1906 in Palermo’s Liberty district. Not a classroom. Not a rehearsal space rented by the hour. A home, with all that this entails: spaces where you can stay, return, and focus without rushing.
Two acoustically designed concert halls. Historic instruments, including an 1827 Wetzels Square Piano and a late 19th-century Broadwood & Sons, alongside a Shigeru Kawai grand piano. A professional recording studio. A garden. The real opportunity to work on yourself between sessions, in the very same space where serious music is made.
That’s what the venue is for. Not as a backdrop, but as part of the journey.
Each academic year concludes with a public concert, which is streamed to an international audience. It is the moment when nine months of work come to life as music on stage.
Not a ceremony. A real test, in front of real people. The same kind of pressure, the same level of attention that a student will encounter in any professional setting from that point on.
The Academy’s 2024/25 concert series spanned 3 days and featured 4 public performances. In 2026/27, there will be 8 new venues. The same journey, new surprises.
