CELLO ORCHESTRA MASTERCLASS AUDITIONS

The masterclass is aimed at all cellists and cellists who wish to prepare for orchestra auditions. Indeed, it is not always easy to find the right way to approach these difficult tests, because it depends not only on technical preparation but also on many psychological factors.

During this double masterclass, which is part of the annual course in High Proficiency, maestros Amedeo Cicchese and Massimo Polidori, first cello at Teatro Regio in Turin and first cello at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, will bring the focus on orchestra auditions.

In addition to individual lessons, there will in fact be a workshop on orchestral steps and a morning devoted to mock auditions.

• One-hour lesson in the FeldenkraisⓇ Method with Marisa Glorioso

10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

• Simulated orchestral auditions and collective in-depth study (4 hours) with A. Cicchese and M. Polidori
• One-on-one cello lessons with Massimo Polidori

March 26,
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Individual cello lessons with M. Polidori
• One-hour lesson in the FeldenkraisⓇ Method with Marisa Glorioso
